Headaches

A headache is a pain sensation at any part of your head. It can present as sharp, dull, throbbing, or aching sensation, and in various locations, such as behind the eyes and/or top or sides of your head. Often, headaches will arise from different structures of the neck or jaw as a result of poor posture, muscle weakness, trauma to the head and neck (such as a motor vehicle accident), or tension. A physiotherapist can help you determine the source of pain or symptoms, provide a diagnosis, and guide you through a rehabilitation program to maximise your recovery and prevent further complications.
